Hothouse hits the big 30!

Fantastic news.  Today, Hothouse, the writing group to whom I attribute so much of my success, achieved it's thirtieth acceptance!!

Thirty pieces of short fiction sold.  All by a group of dedicated writers that has never exceeded eight people, and all in just under six months.  Absolutely awesome.

Everyone currently in the group has achived publication, and I can assure you we are all very hungry for more.  I personally have about twenty pieces currently out on submission.  But, as observed by a fellow HHer last week, as we start setting our sights on more paying markets, as well as the challange of more competition, the responses are taking longer and longer.

When I first started with HH, I was incredibly impatient... all right, I still am.  However, I have learned that good things come to those who wait, so while waiting for my next acceptance, which will be my tenth, I'll just concentrate on writing my next short story.
