So, as a frequent visitor to my blog, you may have noticed a few little changes. Namely a shift around of features and the addition of 'My Current Read', but I can't take all the credit for these changes.
You'll see, on my blog listing, I follow Muse Musings, a blog written by my friend Joe, also a fellow Hothouser. I follow his blog closely as he always has cool updates and I am a huge admirer of his work. Seriously look out for his name in the future!
Anyway, I noticed on Joe's blog a much better way to share a current read other than an Amazon advert as I usually do. Namely the image of the book cover. As someone who's blog was text only, I love the difference this feature has made. Oh and a thanks to Joe too for the 'how to do it' advice.
So, other changes... well, I am really excited to share that I have just been made a Moderator on Writers Beat. A very flattering invitation and one I just couldn't refuse. I found WB early in 2010 when I was researching word counts on the Internet. And had it not been for my membership to the forum I would never have met Mike and been invited to join Hothouse. Had that not happened... well none of us would be here writing and reading this blog today. As a Moderator, hopefully I'll be able to give a little back to the forum that has given me so much.
