Today has been great in terms of my writing. There have been more sales of 'A Daughter's Love' and another fantastic review on Amazon.com (thank you Chazz Hart).
Also because Kindle is fairly new to Amazon.co.uk, sales of the story so far have been enough to bump it up to #147 in the best sellers listings. Untreed Reads are champing at the bit for me to get a few more UK sales and push it into the top 100. So I've written a plea to all my facebook friends hoping there are Kindle users among them.
Secondly, and just as big. My erotic fiction, Hunger, has been accepted by a paying market. It'll be available to read on-line for one month from November 1st. Rest assured a link will be posted at that time.

Aw good for you Lorry! You'll make that top 100 in no time. I'm looking forward to reading Hunger too, great title. Is it paranormal?
ReplyDeleteYou are doing so wonderfully in your writing career, your success and talent is so inspirational.
Thanks Heather. Hunger is an erotic piece. I wrote a poem that was posted on WB with a similar name. It rhymed and was therefore slated by the serious poets, lol.
ReplyDeleteBut is was quite amorous and I liked it, so with some HH help, I tried to re-write it without the rhyme, but in all honesty... I suck at poetry. So now I use it for therapy and character development, nothing more.
Anyway, Hunger was too good an idea to let go, so I turned it into a story.
Sorry should have said it's historical erotica. Warriors and swords... you know me ;)
ReplyDeleteSounds like another one to look forward to!
ReplyDeleteYour doing an amazing job with your writing!
Oh my god that's awesome!!! Is that your first sale?!? CONGRATS!!
ReplyDeleteI've been accepted by other paying markets already, but this is the first one to pay me. The others do so after publication! I'm just happy to find it a home.
ReplyDeleteHow do you find these places and then decide where you send your work? Goodness :-)
ReplyDeleteI didn't see your Hunger poem, but I prefer nice flowey rhymes to most other poems. I don't really dig poetry at all anymore to be honest about it. The idea of taking a great idea you couldn't put into poetry and making it a story is great!
Here's the link to the original poem. Should you want to take a peep! The story is somewhat more developed and... juicy ;)
